Details
Opened in May 2012, the Centennial Building adds 33,000 square metres to the Kelowna General Hospital site. The new building include new emergency department, operating rooms, ambulatory care and outpatient clinics, UBC education space and ambulance garage and helipad. The Centennial Building was designed and built to LEED Gold standards; LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a third-party certification program and an internationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.
